Bring the African Wilderness into the Classroom

Here is a great way to show the students:

*Animals congregate near watering holes.

*When it is daytime here, it really is nighttime on the other side of our planet.

*Animals have habits too.

Oobleck

A great way to study the properities of liquids and solids is to use oobleck. Use the science explore site (Outrageous Ooze) and the corresponding youtube video for a spectacular lesson!
